Calculation of boundary layer thickness
 

I have two questions.

1. I am meshing a corrugated airfoil of insect in gambit for analysis at Re = 34000. how can i calculate the boundary layer thickness of an irregular surface like corrugated airfoil ?

2. What is the recommended range of value of aspect ratio in gambit and what effect does high aspect ratio has on results?
