ColinS is on a distinguished road
I'm trying to create a simulation in CFX of a 2D axisymmetric, zero thickness surface in an external flow and I'm having difficulty going about meshing in ICEM. The geometry is similar to a hollow hemisphere which is defined by one curve (that is rotated 360 degrees). Any advice or pointers on how to mesh this curve? Do I need to revolve the curve a small angle to make it 2.5D or can I do this in the X-Y plane and output the mesh as a FLUENT file to be interpreted by CFX? I can't seem to find any similar tutorials or examples on the forums.
