So I'm doing a mesh convergence study for 2D flow around a cylinder.
I'm using CFX-Mesh in ANSYs and am refining the mesh by altering the minimum edge length in the boundary around the Cylinder. I've encountered a problem: I've reached a refinement level where the minimum edge length at the face of the cylinder is 0.0003m. In order for the mesh to be solved, I also have the short edge limit in "verify options" to 0.0003m. However, when I try to shorten the edge length further, the mesher fails. Any idea? Edit: Apologies for the mis-spell in the title! Last edited by ad281; February 1, 2011 at 16:02. Reason: Mis spell |
