Splitting a block along a stretched egdge

Hi,

I have got a simple cube geometry for which I intend to apply a structured mesh. I am aiming to apply a stretching to one coordinate direction. If I split the blocks normal to this direction after applying the mesh parameters, I end up with two discontinuous blocks with the same mesh parameters (see the attached images). Is there a smart way to leave the overall mesh parameters unaffected while splitting the blocks? I could do the meshing manually after splitting, but with 1000+ blocks, this is quite an effort.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am having the same problem. Did you find a workaround for this? Is there a way for inheriting "parent" edge's bunching to its "children"?

Thanks and good luck.

I think you're talking about "match edge", just click on it next to edge parameters in the pre-mesh params. Altough i never tried. i hope this is it
