Grid size

Hi,

Forgive the noob question, but after searching and searching I've been unable to find the answer to the following:

How do I view the number of cells within Gambit? (I know how this is done in Fluent)
How do I view the average cell size within Gambit?

Thank you

go to examine mesh (2d or 3d) , select range and update... (don't specify the lower and upper limit for skewness >> let 0 and 1, it will select all your mesh and therefore you will see how may cells you have)

what do you mean with average cell size?

Thanks Max!

By grid size I mean the area. Mine is a 2D grid. Perhaps there is a way of finding the total area and then I could manually divide that by the number of cells to get the mean "size" ?

you can check the area of your domain, by selecting summarize Faces: Gambit will give you some informations (Area included).
