Meshing after geometry changed

I need to change the geometry of my model to make comparisons, but meshing cost to much time. I wonder if I could finish the work more efficiently with any function of ICEM?

Are you using a structured or unstructured mesh?

Also is your mesh multi-block?

Thanks for your reply.
I use structured mesh and only hexa block.

Replay Option: Replay file functionality enables parametric block topology generation linked to parametric changes in geometry

This will help you in case the blocking was taking time, if however the actual mesh generation from the blocking is taking time, I don't know what will reduce that time.

Hi,

If the mesh generation process itself is taking time you can use mutli-block strategy so that you only have to generate the mesh in that block only.

Also for parametric studies you can use the update vertices option so that you do not need to bother about blocking.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much!
It helps a lot.
