Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone here has the experience of meshing internally ridged tubes and possibly can help me with the problem that I have in this regard.

My tube is a helically ridged one and I tried to mesh it by sweeping method and inflation. A scan of geometry is attached. But I got errors and here are the error messages:

[COLOR="red"]- An error occurred during sweeping while meshing the following face. Change element sizing parameters and try again

-The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input. Please try meshing with another mesh method or different mesh option

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Use tet mesh, the sweep alogrithm is not advanced enough to sweep any type of geometry, if you want to use sweep with this geometry you will have to create many slices. It is not worth the effort when you can get the same result with tet mesh (dont forget to add inflation).

And i am assuming this is a CFD case.
