Good afternoon gentlemen. I'm a student currently in his final year of university and have recently come across som problems when using icem cfd. I'm creating a structured mesh and at an intersection between surface get these anomalies in the mesh (please see images below) and as I'm relatively new to the software I am not sure how to resolve this. I would appreciate any help.

Thank you very much,

Check your associations

I can't really tell what is going on, but it is probably a projection issue...

Right click on edges in the blocking branch of the model tree and show the associations... another way to see would be to turn on the projected mesh display...

I also find that putting a scan plane thru the problem area (right click on premesh in the tree) will also give a good idea where things are going wrong.

You are looking for an edge associated to the wrong curve or for a face that should be associated to a surface, but the surface is missing or has a hole in it or something like that...

basically, it is trying to project to the model via your setup associations, so you need to check your associations and the model to make sure it all makes sense...
