Problem meshing two parts

Hello,
I have two parts in my geometry but when I want to mesh the heometry only one part is meshed. I specified a quad meshing but it is automatically tri. Can you help me please to make it work? |

unless you show the settings and inputs you made noone can tell you why you can't get one part meshed.
Also it will not hex mesh it by magic, hex mesh is only for simple cases or else you have to make a geometry simple for the software to understand by slicing it, so you can apply hex mesh to it on separated bodies. |
