fine mesh in wake trailing edge
 

hello, how could I do a finer mesh in the wake zone after the triling edge of a 2d airfoil using patch independen mesh with tetra elements? I have tried using densyties but the result is not very good. Also I don't know how can I control the ratio of growth, what I have done is set the curve parameters and the max element in the global meshing settings but the ratio of growth in the surface mesh is very abrupt.

And how can I do the same with patch independent?

try extending the trailing edge vertex to make a curve that extends up to the Farfield or somewhere in between
