Hello, Guys:

I am trying to simulate a boudary layer and therefore i need to construct the geografical landscape in DM.

Does anybody know how to import the geografical landscape, which i have already the data as a certain format, into DesignModeler or AnsysMeshing?

If you are using Ansys-ICEM for your mesh, you can import several kind of formats from other software. You can even import from pictures and MRI scans (I have not tried it before, but that is what ANSYS says). In ICEM, click menu
FILE > Import Geometry>

So if your data is in any of the formats above, I think you can import into ICEM and create your mesh for FLUENT or the relevant solver.

You can alternatively draw your model in ICEM.

Thank you, brother. But i want to import the geografical file into DesignModeler or AnsysMeshing. Because with DM or AM you can parameterize the configuration, which other software cann't do it.

Can anybody tell me how to deal with geografical file as Boundary Layer in DM or AM??
