Hello,
i have a quick question regarding refinement. When i set the level value to 0.5, i receive an error message stating "factor must be positive." The ICEM Help states the following: "A Level value greater than 1 will result in refinement, while a Level value less than 1 will result in coarsening of the pre-mesh" From this statement, a value of 0.5 would result in a coarser mesh. Am i missing something? Is there another way to coarsen selected blocks? Thanks, john |

You made my day. The manual tells you to enter a value less than 1 for coarsening, but you can't enter a value less than 1. Never would have thought of entering 0.5 as 1/2. |
