hi
in gambit I want to creat a circular cut on top of a cylinder but it says "the requested operation can not be performed because the face of the cylinder has upper topology" do you know how it could be done?

if your volume is real, than a simple split with any surface cutting entirely your volume should be successfull.
But the message you posted, sounds like you want to delete a surface, an edge or a vertex which belongs to your volume
