the pic attached is a spray dryer chamber that hot gas enters it from a ring hole on top of it. I want to creat a ring enterance on the top. is it clear?

do you just want to isolate an annular face on the top face?

no. the annular face must be a part of the total volume and it must be meshed. I want to enter air from it in the chamber.

so you want your top surface divided with a circle, which will describe your annular, right?
