Shared Topology Calc Time
 

I am using Ansys 13.0 designmodeler and have a large scale model with a single part made of 3556 bodies.

I am experiencing a very high lag time (2+ hrs.) when attempting to transfer this "clean" model into the Ansys meshing application. This lag time is also experienced when employing the "shared topology" command in DM.

Does anyone know how to maximize settings within Workbench to speed the transfer process of a multi-part body from DM into the mesher?
Or is there another method to transfer a large model into the Ansys meshing application to generate a conforming mesh without sacrificing high amounts of time?

I am on a windows 64 machine with 12 cores and 48 GB or ram.
