[ANSYS Meshing] Element biasing and O-grid generation

Hi,

A couple of questions on simple geometries, to better explain here, for use in a more complex model for CFX.

1. For a hollow cylinder how can the hex elements be biased so that they are clustered at the inner and outer circumferences? The 1st image shows a simple mesh with the Sweep Method and then I put on a Mapped Face (2nd image) which gave the structured radial distribution. But how can the elements be biased? I cannot find any option to do so.

2. For a filled cylinder how can those perfect ICEM type O-grids with boundary layer bunching be made? I tied the MultiZone method (3rd image) and then put on a Face Sizing (last image) but cannot find the options to make those ICEM style O-grids.

Thanks.

I guess these things are not possible (yet?) in ANSYS Meshing?

With base tools in ANSYS Meshing not. But you may open ICEM CFD directly into AM (Multizone, Write ICEM CFD Files > Interactive) and create this mesh. After build grid will be automatically loaded into AM environment.
