Hi friends

I am trying to merge the small faces of a turbine blade at the leading edge using "virtual topology", it always says "cannot create virtual cell: the variation of the surface normals is too large with respect to the average surface normal of the selected set or your model's tesselation is invalid".

I imported my model from parasolid file and got many small faces at the leading edge. I also tried igs and the original file format(CATIA), but this error again.

BUT I can merge these faces in GAMBIT easily.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Regards

Sarah
