[DesignModeler] simulating a moving body in a flowing field

hello,
I'm trying to simulate a solid body flowing inside a pipe.
how do i create the geometry in design modeler?
I've tried using the freeze and subtract tools but in both cases the body does not move.

What do you mean moving body? If you want to change its position you can use "body operation - translate", if you want to solve the flow field of a moving body, try CFX instead of DM.

I want to create a geometry in which the body will be able to move due to the flow field inside the pipe..

you need to have a seperate volume around the cylinder and specify it as a rigid body with translatory dof.... u should activate remeshing in the volume outside the rigid body...
