mesh distortion
Dear all,
I am using ANSYS icem and trying to make a mesh of I would say a very simple geometry...however during this process the mesher is imposing very strange elemens (distorted) in one face of my model? Can please someone tell me how can i fix this? Please see attached one picture of the anomaly. Best regards. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/197/drawingj.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/862/drawing1o.jpg/ |

wor the wedge geometry helps Y-block
|
Sorry, Sheyko I did not understand your answer...Could you try to explain with more detail please?
|
Are you using blocking? Based on your images I suppose you have wedge geometry?
|
No. I am not using blocking
Basically in order to have this geometry I have created six planes. In each plane I have draw trapezoidal sections and then I have used the skin feature in order to have a body (in the end of doing this I have 1 part-1body). So, yes you can say itīs a wedge geometry. |
could I see icem-project or geometry?
