Hello Everybody

I am trying to mesh a simple surface with blocking 2D planar, but one of the edge don't want to be associated to a curve.
The problem is quite trivial but I can't succeed to do it.
If someone can help me.
Thank you

I send some pictures !

One edge is not associated correctly. Don't you notice the green arrow to one point instead to curve?

yes of course I notice !
this is the title of the post
the problem is that I don't understand why Ansys don't want associate the edge to the curve. Perhaps because one of the curve is parametric ? I don't know .
Is someone understand why.
But thank you Galad

use this blk file (just change extension to .blk from .txt). It is the limitation of straight edge association to high curvature curve. Need to be split into more edges.

Yes solved ! thank you
yesterday I cut the 2D block in 3 three parts but in 4 parts it is better !
but It is strange that ansys is not capable to associate well this edge with this curve without splitting the edge.
In any case thank you

To follow with this problem, I trying to mesh a surface boat with the bottom structured and the rest unstructured. This is the reason of this post.
I want to do the same mesh than the picture but with the boat, mixing structured with unstructured. I use in volume mesh the octree method and existing mesh part
I put the tin and the blk in dropbox.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3423073/casco.blk
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3423073/casco.tin

I am not capable to mesh it ! I do it for the appendices but for the boat , this is not working.
Is you have a solution Far, you will be great !
Thank you in advance
