Creating a blunt trailing edge from sharp trailing edge

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I need to edit the point geometry of the NREL s809 wind turbine blade such that it will have a (small) blunt trailing edge instead of a sharp one in order to model vortex shedding at really high angle of attack. Having a sharp TE also constantly interferes with the meshing.

I have tried to cut it using autocad but have run into problems trying to export the point data afterwards. Attempts to simply edit the point data such that the TE is blunted have also failed to produce useable results.

Is there a better and more accurate way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

EDIT: Noticed a mistake in the title. I meant creating a blunt trailing edge from collapsed TRAILING edge...not leading. Apologies
