also, if you have time to answer these two questions as you are very senior and I have put in lots of time to find a solution but to no avail:

I have made a geometry in DesignModeler and meshed in Ansys Meshing. When I export it to ICEM CFD, names that I have given to faces and body vanish. The reason to export is to export the mesh to OpenFOAM as the intersection curve of two pipes does not come out proper in it. Same is the reason for not building it in ICEM CFD. Ansys Meshing "mesh" gives many errors while converting to OpenFoam whereas ICEM CFD converts good. It also gives a material point on its own which I have not defined in Meshing. Also the part symmetry becomes SOLID_PART_1. I think it is because OpenFOAM's latest version supports ICEM CFD but not Meshing. Can you advise tell me how to import Meshing "mesh" in ICEM that is as perfect as if it is built in ICEM without any issues.

2. How can I create surfaces with my own areas defined in Fluent. reason is I am trying to compare my results for Power spectrum for pressure and I have been advised that I should create as many surfaces with areas of transducers as input to calculate pressure fluctuations at those points and calculate my curve and see if it matches the one built experimentally.

I am a beginner and I am finding it very hard to resolve these issues.
