Static structural analysis using ANSYS Mechanical APDL

Hi all

I am currently attempting to develop a static structural model of the aortic root and ascending aorta using ANSYS mechanical. For my first model, I have simply included the Young's Modulus and Poisson's ratio to describe the material properties. This simulation works fine, however, when I try introducing additional complexity, such as assuming the material is hyperelastic, the simulation crashes after about 30 mins, without any errors being displayed and the program shuts itself down. I tried running the elastic simulation again, this time allowing for large displacements (and hence stress stiffening effects) and this also crashed in the same manner.

Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem? I am a first time user of these programs so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

It maybe a Convergence problem!
elastic analysts is easy to get the result.
But for the hyper elastic and large deformation problem are the nonlinear problem, Ansys need more time and iterations to get the result.
Generally, check your input and b.c, increase the substeps, if not work, we may need more information to help U.
