gricko is on a distinguished road
Hello,

First let me say that i am very fresh at CFD and still learning.

I have a problem of configuring the Ansys 13 package i suppose.
The existing problem is:

I have one system containing:
HP Compaq 6820s with Intel Core 2Duo T7250 @2GHz
4GB of ram
Win7 32 bit and Ansys 13 32bit

The other system containing:
HP XW8600 with 2 Xeon E5440 @2.83GHz
8GB of ram
two 150gb WD Velociraptors setup in RAID 0
Win7 64 bit and Ansys 13 64bit

Is there any obvious reason why the same project on the workstation is being solved for 2 minutes longer than on the laptop? It takes 3 minutes on the laptop and 5 minutes on the worsktation.
It is a simple case of a reservoir with 2 inlets and 2 outlets. Media is water.

If there is someone who can help me i would be very gratefull.

Greetings from Slovenia
