Any suggestion of improvement? (Longer re-circulation length in periodic hill flow)
I ran several detailed simulation using k-omega sst model, in low re mode, with low re mesh for channel flow, and the results are perfect.
And then I started to try periodic hill as it is in ercoftac database. The results are not bad, thought the recirculation length is longer than reference.
I've done grid convergence, and also double checked the other numerical schemes..
So my question is,
What is your experience with sst model in predicting the recirculation length?
Is this the best that SST model can do for now?
Or does Dr. Menter has some important and better improvement of his model these years?
