Simplifying CAD Geometry

Does anyone know of useful tutorials or guidelines for simplifying an imported CAD geometry in the Design Modeler?

I would like to run a Fluent simulation using an exisiting Pro-E design but it has many small features (i.e. holes, corners, edges, etc.) that are unnecessary/unfriendly for CFD analysis.

Thanks.

Hi

Hello friends:

Greetings!

I would like to introduce myself as entrepreneur running small CAD setup.

Hope I enjoy posting here and you guys may benefit from my insights in CAD industry!

Would it not be easier to simplify the model in its native format, save it as a simplified model, and then import it?

Richard: Hello, any help/guidelines you could offer on simplifying a geometry for CFD analysis would be greatly appreciated.

ABF: I am not sure, the geometry's native format is Pro-E and I am not very experienced in Pro-E so I would rather use Design Modeler if possible.
