Dear all,
I am a beginner in ANSYS. I am currently doing a 2-D analysis about sudden contraction and expansion coefficient by ANSYS10.0 multiphysics. I have few questions when doing this. Q1) Do I need to specify an entrance length for the flow to develop? Q2) As the flow is pipe flow, what is the boundary condition for the outlet? Q3) After solving the problem, I used Bernoulli's equation to verify the result and assuming friction loss is neglected.. I found the result is much lesser than other academic findings. What should I do to rectify the model or how can I verify the correctness of the model? Thanks in advance. Alex |
