Hello @all!
I have a problom during my cfd-simulation of a radial fan! I will calculate the thrust load of the fan, but I didn't know the correct solution. First, I calculate in CFD-Post all forces of the fan walls. Is this the right thrust load?, or should I also consider the momentum of the redirection? So I would calculate the momentum force: Velocity^2*section*Density. Or is this force already in my wall forces? Can someone help me? Thank you in advance, Lancester |
