Mass flow calculation in a 2D ANSYS model
Hello,
I am well ware this is most probably a very basic question, but here I go... I am modeling a 2D heat exchanger in ANSYS (water in a duct flowing over heated tubes). The inlet boundary condition is a velocity (0.5m/s), the duct diameter is 0.1345 m. Is it possible to get a mass flow rate for the fluid in the duct? I have sen other posts and am rather unsure of the result it gives me. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
If you know the cross sectional area of the duct, can't you use
density*Area*Velocity to get the mass flow rate? |
