Initial stress (INISTATE)

I have a static structural analysis completed in ANSYS Workbench. I have exported the deformed geometry from the static analysis to a transient. Now I need to import initial stresses.

I have been trying to use the INISTATE,WRITE commands (by inserting "Commands (APDL)" into the "Solution" on the tree) in order to write a file containing the final stresses of the deformed body. I want then to be able to INISTATE,READ that file in my transient analysis.

I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

Any tutorials, articles, etc. that deal with exporting and importing initial stresses in Workbench would be very helpful too. I am struggling to find much on the subject.
