CFX backward step mesh scheme comparisons?

Dear all,

I am required to make comparisons between the following mesh types of a backward facing step:

a) Uniform structured quadrilateral mesh
b) Non-uniform structured quadrilateral mesh with refinement in appropriate regions
c) Unstructured triangular mesh with refinement in appropriate regions (with similar number of cells)

After completing the geometry designmodeller of my backward facing step, how exactly do I apply these different meshes to the model?

I am guessing for a) the mesh is quite straight forward where I firstly access ANSYS Mesh, then just generate a mesh with Relevance Center set on 'fine'.

As for b) and c) I am guessing that it has something to do with inflation and sizing functions?

Thank you all kindly in advanced,

Kind regards,

Keith
