Hello there,

I've opened the .bdg file (BladeGen) of a radial compressor in order to read it since I may need to modify it. Although most of sections are clear to me there are some "random" numbers and I can't understand what they represent. I was wondering if you know of an existing tutorial of Bladegen that could help me. Or if any of you would like to help me i could copy here the file and explain better my problem. Many thanks

Only documentation I am aware of can be found in your ANSYS installation directory i.e.: ANSYS Inc\v<your version>\aisol\BladeModeler\BladeGen\BladeGen.hlp

To manually edit a blade design much more suitable for this purpose is BladeGen Input File (*.bgi), which is basically a *.bgd file with some fancy formatting. A bgi file can be generated from an existing bgd file right in BladeGen (File -> Export). See the mentioned help file for more information.

Cheers
