Simulating moment on a line
 

I am trying to model a plate being subjected to certain loads.
I've attached a quick mock of the situation.
The red plate is what i'm analysing, and the two masses are the loads applied.
My main assumption is that (being a simplified realistic scenario) the masses are attached to the plate by a weld along each edge (in 3D space).
From this, the plate is fixed-constrained along its top edges.

I am having trouble successfully modelling the rest of the problem though. My first approach was to apply a downward UDL of Mass 1 across the lines of the bottom of the Plate, and then a downward force equivalent to the moment cause by Mass 2 along the bottom ledge edge of the plate. However, moments on lines do not seem to have a direction, they just apply a force in the 2 outward directions.

Am I making an incorrect assumption here, or is there a way to apply a moment on a line?
Even further, is there an easier way to do this, such as modelling the actual Masses as blocks in ANSYS and connecting them to the plate somehow.

Any advice is appreciated.
