3D mesh in CFX

Hello all,

I created a 2D mesh for an airfoil using ICEM. Since CFX needs a 3D mesh I followed someone's advice here on this forum and simply extruded the mesh. Now the problem is that when I try to define the boundaries in CFX pre, I have no surfaces to work with. I have searched this forum to find a solution but I was not successful.

Could anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

you need to select the required boundary mesh elements using "Primitive region option"
1. from model tree, select the mesh and then right click-->insert--> "Primitive region",
