Add springs to brake pads
 

Hi I am new to Ansys and need to do analysis in order to calculate brake squeal. I have made a model of a pad and disc. It is a simple model with simply two brake pads attached to the brake disc. I need to connect each of the brake pads to points in space and assign these elements spring properties (to simulate the stiffness provided by a caliper in a real brake disc model). Can anyone please help me out? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
