Hi guys, really stuck so any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm simulating turbulent flow within a 3D pipe and am looking to implement a UDF to create fully a turbulent flow profile at the inlet.

My inlet is parallel to the x axis/perpendicular to z and the symmetry condition in y throughout the whole pipe.

Ive found many 2D UDF guides but not any 3D turbulent flow UDF's.

I am also struggling to work out the parabolic equation. I also need my average velocity - do I just take the from FLUENT using the surface integrals?

If anyone can guide me on where to start or point to any existing codes, I would really appreciate it!

Regards,
Taz
