Sail Surface Modelling

Hi all,

I'm aiming to model the flow around a laser class dingy sail in ansys 12.1 CFX. I can import a thin (~1mm for arguments sake) thick sail model successfully (including a 3d flow domain). However this will obviously lead to a rubbish mesh down the track at the edges. Ansys requires thin/surfaces to have a thickness greater than zero, which I don't want.

What I want to do is import my infinitely thin 3d sail model (iges file from RHINO V4) into ansys CFX and mesh it as an infinitely thin surface with the characteristics of a wall in a 3d Domain. Anyone got any clues on how to do this? The manual talks about modelling infinitely thin surfaces in turbogrid, however this is not an option.

Any input is appreciated

cheers
