Hi ,

I have a question which refer to launch Icem CFD on linux. The version of Icem CFD is from ANSYS 12.1.

My question is: what command line to use in Linux to launch ICEM CFD, or where is the correct path from were I can launch it ?

Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

Best regards

Maybe you could add the following line to your ".bashrc" or ".alias" or whatever might be your start up script.

alias icemcfd='/usr/ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd/bin/icemcfd'

As far as I know the command will not have any adverse effect.

If it does not work try exploring your system with command line or some sort of file browser. Which Linux are you using ?

Hi, I am using Fedora 16 x64. When i run

$ /ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd/bin/icemcfd

this comes up..

ICEM_ACN is /usr/ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd
ANSYSLIC_DIR is set to /usr/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing
args

and it just sits there.. what am i missing ?
