Avoiding triangular blocks
 

I am trying to mesh a bluff body with a rear diffuser. The diffuser has an endplate at each end, which is forcing me to create a triangular shaped block on the diffuser ramp. How do I avoid this? Has anyone ever had to block similar geometry?
I've been changing the blocking around for months now but can't seem to find a solution!

Ansys Mesh V13 has hex cut-cell meshing.

I am running v11. is this not available on it? and how does it work?

Its only available on Version 13, which was recently released.
