Very basic questions for ICEM CFD

Hello, I have two simple questions for ANSYS ICEM CFD 12:

1) How do you check the number of finite elements in the mesh, number of nods or triangles/cubes/tetras/hexas and so on.

2) How do you set "boundary conditions" when creating a mesh for any kind of flow.

Thanks in advance,
Have a nice day:)

hi,
1) right klick "pre-mesh" in the "blocking" menu -> "show size info"
2) not at all, you do it later, for example in cfx pre

You can set boundary conditions in ICEM. Go to Output > Boundary conditions.

I find it easier to do in a program like CFX Pre, but you can do it in ICEM.
