Question How to save Ansys 13 project to be opened by ansys 12 ?
 

I need to save the projects i made on ansys 13 workbensh to be opened by ansys 12
or a way to open my projects which i made using ansys 13 , by ansys 12

NB:the projects are CFX

I'm afraid that your only options are to export the geometry and/or mesh. Saving the whole project in a backwards compatible format is not possible.

I've got similar problem with ansys v13 - i've tried exporting mesh so that i could work on it in ansys 12.1 however it can be never opened as ansys 12.1 says that the mesh file "appears not to be a valid cfx5 file". I'm just using export comand in mesh editor and then try to import the mesh into a cfx block using import command. Is there another way around?
