Acoustic simulation - ANSYS beginner

Hello all

I am new to the Ansys suite. For a school project, I have to simulate the propagation of an acoustic wave (a ping from a sonar at (x0,y0), emitted from t = 0 to t = t1) in a rectangular pool with three walls, the fourth side of the rectangle being open towards the sea, and get the pressure at (x1,y1) at time t from 0 to tmax... And I don't really know how to do it.

After reading the acoustics section in ANSYS help, I tried a rectangle with PLANE182 elements on three sides, and FLUID29 elements in the pool. On the open side of the pool, I used a half circle of FLUIDI29 elements (the fourth side being a diameter of the half circle). Am I correct so far ?

Now, my problem is that I don't know how to add "initial conditions" for my problem, by which I mean the sonar ping ; also, I am not sure of the parameters I should use on the solver, and I couldn't find any example of such a simulation anywhere.

Could somebody help me with that ?

Thank you
