3d mesh around a wind turbine blade

Ive seen many posts here about this issue but nobody has explained step by step how to generate a 3d mesh around a wind turbine blade?

can anybody tell me how to do that in Ansys Meshing or ICEM?

hey there, we talked once about this some months ago I remember.

making a first volume mesh on icem for a wind turbine is not that hard. but you need to go through tutorials first such as the pdf for icem 11.

you basically need to create a volume aroud the blade, create surfaces, body, make sure is 'water-tight' and then compute volume mesh.

Then of course to create a good quality one, there will have to be practice and patience.
