is there a way to hide the global plot?

playing around with the autodesk 360 trial.
specifically with the CFD portion.
I can't for the life of me find a way to turn off the global plot.
Is it possible?

At some point I thought I was able to do it, but now I can't get back to that point and I didn't nab a screenshot to confirm that at some point I was able to do that.

It may not be possible because I don't see anything in the help and all the screenshots I've seen show the global outlines.

Note, I am able to get rid of the shaded view and am just stuck with the wireframe.

What do you mean by 'global plot' -- the legend, or the coloring on the parts themselves? Both are possible:

Hide the legend from the view tab of the ribbon.
Disable the gradient coloring on parts by right clicking on the part and changing the visual style (e.g. outline) or setting a color or texture to the part

Hi Ryan, thanks for your response. I haven't had a chance to try your suggestions.

If I hide the legend, will that hide the legend for both the global plot and the plane plot that I'm trying to look at? Ideally I just want to get rid of the global plot legend.

Regarding disabling the gradient, I have changed the visual style to outline and a specific color. But what I'd like to do is remove the outline completely. Is that possible?

If you hide the legend from the ribbon it will hide all legends, yes. To show a single legend, set the global result quantity to the same as your cut plane.

To hide a part completely, find it under the results > materials node of the design study tree and uncheck the box beside it.

Hi Ryan, is it possible to hide the outline of a component showing global results but keep the part showing the plane results? That is essentially what I'm looking to get.

This is possible -- you will have to kind of fake it: set the part to transparent and then set the transparency to 100%.
