CFDesign CFD module

Does anybody know how to simulate a cooling system of a bus using autodesk CFD soft? I am having serious problems modeling the heat exchangers which are evaporators in my case. I can provide pictures or CAD files if needed.
Thanks you

are you trying to simulate the flow through the heat exchangers?

if you are looking for a overall "Macro" solution... use a distributed resistance for the Hx..... try to get a pressure drop curve vs flow rate from the Hx vendor.... if it is a decent Hx.. at sea level.. you could prolly use a 2 inch of H2O pressure drop at all flow rates....(Velocities)

Thank you for your reply. What i have done is to define those exchangers as volumic BC with a negative total heat generation. What do you think of that? i haven't have results yet...

Yes, you could apply a negative heat generation. 2013 added a new heat exchanger material with more options. Go to the Autodesk Help wiki and search for heat exchanger materials.
