Please visit the Resources tab of http://www.simspecs.com to access free online utilities for Autodesk Simulation CFD. No login required.

CTStoCSV Converter
  • This utility converts the component thermal summary file (*.cts) from a thermal simulation into a comma-delimited .csv file for Excel. A bar chart of the thermal data is also produced online.
SummaryOutlet

  • This utility extracts the mass flow of all openings in the *.sum file and produces a .csv file along with an online bar chart. Useful for headers or manifolds with a large number of openings.
SummaryParts

  • This utility processes the Summary Part data from the Decision Center and outputs a .csv file for further processing in Excel.

If you have ideas for other utilities that would enhance the use of Autodesk Simulation CFD, we would love to hear about them.

I have uploaded a video which introduces the Component Thermal Summary (*.cts) file and how to use the online utility to convert it into an Excel-compatible file.
