import mesh in CFDedign 10

Does the new version of cfdesign 10 import a mesh in nastran format???????

You can import a nastran mesh in v10. Might want to talk to our support team for specifics. Often it's better to import the geom from nastran as the meshes between structural (nastran) simulations are quite different than a cfd mesh.

Particularly when it comes to the automatic boundary layer creation. It is often better to mesh the entire thing in CFdesign.

well i have a client that is using Hypermesh as a mesh engine and wants to keep going with that, he can create a good mesh and very fast also for cfd, and he ask me if the cfdesing can import this mesh with nastran format.

what shall i tell him? how can he open the model?

thanks
