how to couple avl fire outputs to abaqus

Hi everyone, I want to couple avl fire to abaqus, I got heat transfer coefficient in avl results and now I want to import HTC data's to abaqus to get residual stress, Does any one know how can I do that?

Hi, you need to do the following:
a) project / map the FIRE output data to the ABAQUS grid (usually the two grids (fluid domain / structure domain) do not have conform interfaces
b) use the maed data and create an ABAQUS input deck

AVL FIRE Users often use FIRE user functions to do this.

but should I import both solid and fluid domain or Can I import solid domain only?
if I use a simple translation in modify mesh tab so both meshes in fire and abaqus match together well, so does it need transfer matrices anymore?

at last how can I use these data's to abaqus?
