As far as I know, FIRE provides a function to interface with optimizers.
It is called as DVI (Design Variation Interface).

modeFrontier should be possible to connect with FIRE.

Which version are you using?

I am using Fire V2011

DVI should be available in v2011.
If you have FIRE manuals, you should be able to find "03_CFD-Pre-Post_v2011.1_04_FIRE-DoE-and-Optimization.pdf"

Currently, there are interfaces to the iSIGHT, iSIGHT-FD, modeFRONTIER, OPTIMUS and also AVL DesignExplorer.
