AVLFire EseDiesel-mesh cannot be created
 
Hi firends,
I am trying to learn avlfire-diesel for senior design project.
İf i want to generate 2D mesh, an error occured.
Mesh can not be created.Average cell size is too big.Although i reduce average cell size , same error occured.Thanks for your help.

Hi....
You should change your block structure. If you set a correct block you can generate 2D mesh

oh... u make a clear mistake. Your structure (line structure) should not intersect each other.

This time i can create meshes but i can not save.
2D meshes have overlapped region.İt is not possible to save CFDWM project.Create 2D meshes with different cell size.

I need to save in order to start simulation.But if I want to save programme an error occured.

You have over lapped regions it means that in 3D meshes you gain negative volume and it's false. You should change your mesh structure with block structure and try the best.

I know fourstroke engine have 4 step:
0-180Cad İntake
180-360Cad compression
360-540Cad power
540-720Cad exhaust
But it does not same in avl.How these step are classified in AVL?

hiii...
As i understood about ur question,
in ese diesel they started their simulation for the second cycle of a cylinder...that means...the TDC after compression will come at 720CAD....so u have to convert your valve events according to that...
take 360 as ur 0 CAD position..then continue.....
please reply if u got my point....
